We love lots of biodegradable confetti, and this photo montage captures the moment brilliantly.

BEHIND THE SCENES
Mark Pugh said: "I love capturing the action of thousands of flakes of confetti falling on the bride and groom, and this photograph is a great example of Louise and David's confetti moment.

I also enjoy looking at the expressions on the faces of the couple as they 'run the gauntlet' of friends throwing

In the UK, The Venerable Thomas Dealty, rector of St. Mary's Church, Swillington 1872-1878, is credited with having introduced the habit of throwing confetti at weddings, from his observation of rice thrown at Hindu weddings in his previous position as Archdeacon of Madras."
